The Brass Turtle Lodge

Stayed at Lodge on Feb 14, 2020 for Valentine's Day and did the dinner special too. We literally fell in love with this place and the community and decided to move to the area four months later. We stayed multiple times and had some terrific dinners too. Highly recommended for a relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The views are incredible of Corpus Christi Bay too.

The Brass Turtle is a hidden diamond in Ingleside! Is it a lodge or an AirBnb? It appears to be available both ways - by their own website or the AirBnB site - any way you slice it, its an amazing value and a great find. You get a fully self sufficient room with its own bathroom, TV and mini fridge - and a shared area with a full kitchen and living area. The shared area includes big comfortable lodge style couches with a view of the bay and a full kitchen. I sat outside with my morning coffee watching the ships enter the bay. Staying here while working nearby, there is nowhere closer to work for Ingleside Bay. I met several guys who stayed here while fishing - it couldn't be more convenient or friendly for fishermen either. They have several types of rooms - good for couples, singles or families. I stayed in the Captain's Quarters - a big room with a king size bed, working area, and giant bathtub, this was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Lani, the host, is easy to contact, she is not overbearing - you feel like you have the place to your self - she is available if you need anything at all and she will solve any issue that arises. The Brass Turtle is far and away better than any other place I have stayed in the Ingleside / Corpus Christi area.

Celebrated New Year’s 2019 with friends. Owners were very accommodating with our large group. Rooms are comfortable & cozy with each having private bathroom. Perfect for family reunions. Loved our stay-We will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! The appetizers were awesome, Lonnie brought out some sample bread for us to sample. Patrick was there to greet us when we walked in. It was a fun and very friendly atmosphere, can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE, I stayed here with my 2 dogs in Oct 2023 at the small blue cabin. And we didn't want to leave the view was soooooo beautiful and that back porch was just as peaceful as it gets! I will be back and I highly highly recommend.

Man, what a great little gem! Our family had a ball. The place is like a cross between a fishing camp and a boutique hotel. There are two large kitchen/living room communal areas and then all these small rooms up and down the halls. They have a private boat ramp with protected slips and then they have a private beach with shallow water and no waves. We like to rent houses so we can make a few of our own meals, and this place allows you to do this perfectly. One of the best things about the area are the Saturday night parties at the Bahia Marina which is about a mile down the road. It is open to non-marina members and was so cool. They have a small restaurant, live music, dancing, games, dogs, kids, and cold drinks all in the mix. I suggest bringing a paddle board or kayak and heading out early before it gets too wind. It is a bit industrial on either end of Ingleside on the Bay, but that really keeps the crowds down. For example, over this Labor Day weekend, we were the only family on the private beach. This place is chill.

We love staying here, the rooms are clean,great view,they have a private beach and marina,you can fish off the dock and beach. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly, there's a full kitchen at both ends of the lodge, one is older but still nice,they have everything you could want to cook a meal as far as pots pans utensils and plates, bowls,ect.... you can make a pot of coffee and get a cup or 2 and the other guests will help themselves, after your done cooking or making coffee all they ask is that you Clean up your mess,they even have the stuff to wash your dishes with. If you want a quiet relaxing place to go this is it,the owner Lani is very nice and I've had several conversations with her on the phone and she's always pleasant.
